This view of Half Dome was shot from Tuolumne Meadows. Made up of many small photographs pieced together to show the mountain in a way a single picture can’t. I took the shots from slightly different spots and laid them out to build one larger view. The shifting skies, light, and shadows are all part of what it feels like to sit out there and really watch the landscape change. It isn’t meant to be one perfect moment, but more like a memory - layered, imperfect, and alive. My hope is that when people look at it, they feel the sense of being there, noticing the mountain in all its moods.
