Monument Valley is not strictly a National Park. The famous, sweeping vista is on Navajo land. For this picture I used small, wallet-sized prints to prevent the constructed tableau from being literally wall-sized. Shot at sundown I think the scene captures the awesome magnificence and quiet of the land. In the distance, a Navajo guide and jitney returns with the last visitors of the day, who have just toured these sacred monoliths.
