The Beartooth Highway curves in and out of Wyoming and Montana’s border between Red Lodge, Montana and the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone Park. This “All-American Road,” crests at almost 11,000 feet. Aspen grow at altitudes between 6,500 and 11,500 feet, so this area is perfect for photographing them in the fall when they change to their flaming colors.
